About the collection
From the workroom
to the wardrobe.
24 dresses made in Dressmaker: 19 client commissions and 5 off-the-rack designs.
Explore every angle
Open any look to turn and zoom the dress beside its illustrated portrait. The 3D models use the saved garment shapes, fitted measurements, fabrics and accessory placements, including custom fabric panels.
The viewer uses its own lighting. Fabric sheen and the way curved trims sit on the dress can look a little different from the game; the in-game photographs remain the reference for the finished pieces.
The dressmaking
This portfolio brings together dresses I’ve made in Dressmaker, combining the game’s garment patterns, fabrics and accessories. Some pieces also use custom fabric panels for details such as lace insets, feather shapes and butterfly wings.
The collection ranges from practical daywear to elaborate costumes. Each entry includes the original in-game photograph alongside its fabrics, construction and finishing touches.
Two parts of the collection
Client commissions are dresses made for requests from Twillford’s characters, including their working days, celebrations and stage appearances.
Off the rack gathers my original ready-made designs. The models—Elspeth, Mabel, Nell, Rowan and Sabine—are characters created for this collection.
The illustrated presentation
The portraits are AI-generated fashion illustrations based on the finished dresses, their in-game photos and the characters’ appearances. They bring the clothes onto a wearer while keeping the fabrics and silhouette in focus.
Fine textures, drape and some styling details are interpreted in the illustrations. The original in-game photos show the dresses as they were made.
A little of the workroom
The paper, sketchbook scrollwork, sewing sketches and decorative frames come from Dressmaker’s own interface. Its lettering and warm ink colors carry through the collection, too.
This is a personal fan-made portfolio. Dressmaker’s game art belongs to its creators. Typeface credits and licenses ↗
